How to Troubleshoot and Fix StubHub Mobile App Not Working, Stuck on Loading or Keeps Crashing Randomly

Update the StubHub App to Latest Version

The first thing to try is making sure you have the latest version of the StubHub app installed. Over time, apps can develop bugs or performance issues that are addressed in app updates.

To update the app:

  • Open the iOS App Store on your iPhone or the Play Store on your Android device.
  • Search for “StubHub”.
  • If an Update button appears next to the app name, tap it to update to the latest version.

Updating to the most recent app version can often resolve general app glitches or crashes.

Restart your iPhone or Android Mobile Device

A simple device restart can surprisingly fix a lot of app issues. Restarting your iPhone or Android phone closes all running apps and resets the device’s memory, which may clear any software glitches affecting the StubHub app.

To restart your device:

  • On an iPhone, hold down the Side button and either Volume button until the power off slider appears. Slide to turn off.
  • On most Android phones, hold down the Power button until the power off menu pops up. Tap Power off.

After your phone fully powers down, turn it back on and try opening the StubHub app again.

Force Stop the Ticketing App

If the StubHub app is stuck on the loading screen or frozen, forcing the app to close can help unfreeze it.

On iPhone:

  • Double click the Home button to open the app switcher.
  • Swipe up on the StubHub app preview to force close it.

On Android:

  • Open Settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps.
  • Tap StubHub.
  • Tap Force stop.

This will terminate the StubHub process so that it can restart fresh when opened again.

Clear the App Cache and Data

Clearing the app cache and data forces the StubHub app to start up like new, which can fix corrupt data or programming issues causing crashes or freezing.

On an iPhone:

  • Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
  • Tap StubHub and tap Offload App. This clears app data.
  • Tap Reinstall App to get a fresh StubHub install.

On Android:

  • Go to Settings > Apps & notifications.
  • Tap StubHub > Storage.
  • Tap Clear cache and Clear data.

Be aware this will sign you out of the app and erase your settings. But it should get the app working again.

Check for App Updates

As mentioned earlier, ensuring you have the most up-to-date version of the StubHub app can prevent a lot of technical issues. Bugs and glitches get discovered and fixed in app updates all the time.

On an iOS Device:

  • Go to the App Store.
  • Tap your profile icon in the top right.
  • Scroll down to see if any updates are available for StubHub.

On Android Phones:

  • Open the Play Store.
  • Tap your profile icon in the top right.
  • Tap Manage apps & device > Updates available.
  • Check if any updates are available for StubHub.

Reinstall the StubHub App

If all else fails, completely uninstalling the StubHub app and reinstalling it from scratch can get rid of any corrupted files or configurations causing crashes or loading issues.

On iPhone:

  • Touch and hold the StubHub icon until it starts wiggling.
  • Then, press the X icon to delete it.
  • Open the App Store, search for StubHub, and reinstall it.

On Android:

  • Touch and hold the StubHub app icon and drag it into the Uninstall area.
  • Open the Play Store, search for StubHub, and reinstall.

Reinstalling may be time-consuming to sign back in and redo your settings, but it often resolves persistent app issues.
